Our state-of-the-art emergency room is equipped to provide emergency, critical and intensive care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We’re always here when your pet needs us most.

Internship & Mentorship Programs

    • This is a work in progress. We offer the following programs and I am working with the heads of the program to give you a better idea of content:)
      • Emergency and Critical Care Mentorship
      • Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery
      • Extern rotations for 4 th year students
        • We currently are a clinical site for Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine and the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (Rowan University) which opens Fall 2025.

My sweet but naughty 5 month old kitten got into some flowers that are extremely toxic to her. I brought her to Crown & they admitted her. The entire staff was absolutely fantastic. My min pin Roxie fell and fractured her ankle. The doctor and her team were wonderful. They got her in right away and were very reasonable with our options. But words can’t express how much we wish we noticed the cast when we were there still so we could tell them how impressed we are. They seemed to totally get Roxie’s diva vibes it’s wrapped and designed perfectly. 10/10 will be back for future emergencies

First off, this place is amazing!!! I had an emergency with my dog Luna. She had gotten bitten, and I had to rush her to the vet hospital. My local vet was closed, and Crown veterinary got her in right away. The veterinarian Dr. Katy Browne was so patient and compassionate for my poor traumatized dog. She kept coming out to the waiting area to give me updates. If anyone in the area needs a 24 hour veterinarian hospital this is the place to go!! Considering the time spent and what needed to be done, the cost was very reasonable. Thank you so much again Dr. Browne for taking such great care of Luna. She's doing really well!

This place saved my dog’s life. Heidi was recommended for euthanasia by another animal hospital. Luckily, I took her out of there and brought her to Crown Veterinary Specialists. They successfully performed a very difficult surgery. The list of medical professionals who contributed to this result is lengthy, but I want to publicly acknowledge Dr. Kuzaldina, who is a gifted doctor of the highest caliber. I can’t say enough good things about this vet service. Yes they may be a bit costly but they are extremely thorough and caring. I have an elderly cat (over 18 now) with failing kidneys and an enlarged heart, and with their care and recommendations she’s survived and thrived longer than expected. This is the only emergency vet I would ever use.

Please call before coming if you have an emergency so we can confirm our capacity to accept your pet and provide the best care. Please realize that stable cases may experience prolonged wait times and that, when we reach capacity, we may need to direct you to another facility.
